| 1 pkg | Dr. Oetker Vanilla Sugar | 1 pkg |

| 3/4 | all-purpose flour | 130 g |
| 1 tsp | Dr. Oetker Baking Powder | 4 g |
| 3/4 cup | chocolate chips | 130 g |
| 3/4 cup | ground nuts | 80 g |
| 3 | egg whites | 3 |

| 1 cup | chopped nuts | 100 g |
Directions
Dough:
1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a 2L (39 cm x 26 cm/15" x 10") jelly pan and line with waxed paper. Grease again.
2. Cream butter, sugar, vanilla sugar and egg yolks together in mixer bowl until light and fluffy.
3. Sift flour and baking powder together over creamed mixture. Mix well.
4. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
5. Beat egg whites to stiff peaks.
6. Fold into creamed mixture.
7. Turn batter into prepared pan.
8. Sprinkle evenly with chopped nuts and push gently into surface of batter.
9. Bake on middle oven rack at 180°C (350°F) for 25-30 minutes.
10. Cut into strips while warm.
