Chocolate Cream Torte

 
Ingredients 
1 pkg Dr. Oetker Organics Chocolate Cake 1 pkg
3 eggs 3
150 mL milk 2/3 cup
125 mL oil 1/2 cup
 
Filling 
1 pkg Dr. Oetker French Vanilla Mousse 1 pkg
170 mL milk 3/4 cup
 
Decoration 
50 g semi-sweet chocolate, shaved 2 squares

Method

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F. Line a 23 cm (9") springform pan with waxed paper.

2. Prepare Organic Chocolate Cake as directed on the packaging.

3. Spread batter evenly in prepared pan.

4. Bake on lower oven rack for 35-40 minutes.

5. Remove from pan and let cool.

6. Prepare the mousse according to package directions using 170 mL of cold milk. Chill.

7. Slice the cake twice to make three layers. Fill two layers with two-thirds of the mousse. Cover with final layer.

8. Spread sides and top of cake with remaining mousse. Sprinkle with shaved chocolate.
