Dr. Oetker Pizzaiolo Kit Crust Mix & Sauce

Introducing the new Pizzaiolo Kit by Dr. Oetker – a pizza crust mix and sauce kit. Just add water, knead and you will have the perfect dough ready to top with our unique tomato sauce blended with spices. Create and shape your dough into anything you want, whether that be a circle, square or maybe even a rainbow! Just add your favourite toppings.



Ingredients Dr. Oetker Pizzaiolo Kit Crust Mix & Sauce


Crust mix: enriched wheat flour (wheat, barley), modified palm oil, glucono-delta-lactone, dextrose, salt, baking soda, yeast, soya oil, skim milk powder

Pizza sauce: tomatoes (tomatoes, tomato juice, citric acid, calcium chloride), water, tomato paste, soya oil, sugar, salt, modified corn starch, garlic powder, onion powder, spices, herbs, xanthan gum, citric acid, potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate

In a bowl, mix the content of the pouch with all the water with your hands until the dough appears well blended.


Knead the dough into a smooth dough ball (2-3 min.), cover it and let it rest for at least 15 min.


Divide the dough ball depending on the size and type of crust you want. Sprinkle flour on the table before flattening the dough. For a thin crust use a rolling pin and for a thicker crust, use your fingers and a little bit of oil to press it and form it to the pan. Note: Freeze the unused portion of the dough for further use as well as store any unopened pizza sauce at room temperature.


Spread the pizza sauce in circular motions with a spoon (1 pouch for a 12” pizza), sprinkle your favourite cheese and add your choice of toppings.


Bake each pizza on the second rack from the bottom for 16-18 min. Or until crust is golden. For optimal results, we recommend to bake one pizza at a time. For a larger pizza using all the dough, bake for 17-20 min. Or until crust is golden.
