|1.5 cup||all-purpose flour|
|0.25 cup||unsweetened cocoa powder|
|1 tbsp||Dr. Oetker Baking Powder|
|1 package||Dr. Oetker Vanilla Sugar|
|0.75 cup||granulated sugar|
|0.66 cup||unsalted butter|
|serving||Candy coated chocolate eggs|
|1||white icing pen|
Chocolate Cupcakes: Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Line 16 muffin cups with paper liners.
In large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder and baking powder. Add eggs, vanilla sugar, granulated sugar, butter and milk. Using handheld electric mixer, beat on low to combine. Beat on high for 2 minutes or until smooth and fluffy. Divide batter evenly among muffin cups.
Bake for 20 to 24 minutes or until toothpick inserted into centre of a cupcake comes out clean. Let muffin cups cool completely on wire rack.
Decorate: Using knife, spread chocolate frosting over cupcakes. Arrange chocolate eggs on cupcakes as ears. Add sugar eyes and Smarties noses. Using icing pen, pipe on whiskers and mouths.
